Perfect vs. Simple
It's all about Finished Time vs. Time Connected to Now!
history 1. Past Simple
We use Past Simple with specific, finished time words:
(yesterday, last week, in 2020)
all_inclusive 2. Present Perfect
We use Present Perfect for experiences or unspecific time:
(ever, never, already, yet, today)
NEVER use Present Perfect with finished time words!
I saw him yesterday. check

Yes! That is perfect. That means you started living here in the past, and you STILL live here now. If you say "I lived here for 5 years" (Past Simple), it means you don't live here anymore!
What about "this morning"? Is it finished or unfinished time?
It depends on what time it is NOW! If it is still morning (10:00 AM), use Present Perfect: "I have drunk coffee this morning." If it is now afternoon (2:00 PM), the morning is finished. Use Past Simple: "I drank coffee this morning."
