Types of Words

Let's learn about three types of words. Click on the cards to hear the word and see what type it is.

Nouns (Naming Words)

Nouns are words for people, places, animals, or things.

Verbs (Action Words)

Verbs are words that show an action or what someone/something is doing.

Adjectives (Describing Words)
