Hello Cambodian Learners!
When you look at a book or a sign, it's helpful to quickly know what it's about. This is called finding the "topic." Pictures can give you big clues! If you see a picture of a cat, the text is probably about animals. This skill helps you understand things faster when you read in English.
What is a Topic?
The topic is the main idea or subject of a text. It's what the text is mostly talking about.
