Answering Questions with Scanning

In our last lesson, we practiced scanning to find details like names and places. Today, we will use that skill to answer specific Wh- Questions¹.

The question word itself is a keyword² that tells you what kind of information to search for. This is a very fast way to find answers in a text!

Part 1: The 'Wh-' Question Clues

Knowing these clues makes scanning for answers easy. Match the question word to the information it asks for.
