Greetings, Intros & Personal Details Welcome to your very first vocabulary lesson! I am Teacher Sopheak, and today we are going to learn exactly how to greet people when you walk into a cafe in Phnom Penh or meet a new friend near the Sangker River. Vocabulary List: Hello / Hi (Greeting) - សួស្តី First name (Personal Detail) - នាមខ្លួន (ឈ្មោះផ្ទាល់ខ្លួន) Last name (Personal Detail) - នាមត្រកូល Nice to meet you (Phrase) - រីករាយដែលបានស្គាល់អ្នក Common Mistake: Name Order English names are reversed! In Khmer, we say our Last Name then First Name. In English, we say our First Name then Last Name.
