Welcome to your very first vocabulary lesson! Taking that first step to say hello in English can be intimidating, but mastering a few basic phrases will help you sound natural and confident. We will also explore a common mistake many beginners make regarding name order. Vocabulary List: Hello / Hi: A friendly word used to greet someone. First name: A personal name given to someone at birth. Last name: The name shared by members of a family. Nice to meet you: A polite greeting when meeting someone for the first time. Common Mistake: Name Order English names are reversed compared to Khmer! In Khmer, we say our Last Name then First Name. In English, we say our First Name then Last Name.
