Hi Sokha! Generally, they mean the same thing. "Stock" is the broad term for ownership in a company. "Shares" are the exact individual pieces of that stock you own. (e.g., I own 100 shares of Apple stock). 📈
What does it mean if an asset is "liquid"? Does it mean it is wet?
Haha, no! In finance, "liquid" means it can easily be turned into cash. Money in the bank is very liquid. A house is NOT liquid, because it takes months to sell it to get the cash! 💧
Is "debt" always a bad thing?
Not always! High-interest credit card debt is bad. But a mortgage (a loan to buy a house) is often considered "good debt" because you are acquiring a valuable asset that will grow in value over time. 🏠
