Is a Layover the same as a Stopover?
Usually, yes! But technically, a "Layover" is a short stop (just waiting in the airport for a few hours for the next flight). A "Stopover" is a long stop (often over 24 hours) where you actually leave the airport and stay in a hotel. ✈️
