What are Irregular Plurals?
We know that most plural nouns end with '-s' or '-es' (like book → books). However, many common nouns are irregular, which means they do not follow this rule. You must memorize their special plural forms.

Special Cases
Be careful with the sound of "woman" and "women"! They are different.
- one woman (sounds like wuh-man)
- two women (sounds like wim-in)
Some nouns have the same form for singular and plural.
- one fish → ten fish
- one sheep → many sheep
