Last lesson, we learned about Nouns, Verbs, and Adjectives. Today, we will focus on a special kind of verb used in an instruction1.

An instruction, or a command2, is a short sentence that tells you what to do. They usually start with an imperative verb3. Let's learn to understand some common instructions you see and hear every day.

Part 1: Instructions in the Classroom

You will often hear your teacher say these things. Look at the picture and read the command.
