Numbers are everywhere! You see them on clocks, on money (like Riel notes), on signs showing prices at Phsar Nat in Battambang, and in your school books. Today, we'll practice finding numbers quickly in English texts. This is another way to use your "scanning spotlight" eyes!


Numbers 1 to 10: Digits and Words

Let's review the numbers from 1 to 10. Click on a card to hear the number.


Scanning for Numbers in Sentences

When you scan for a number, you look for the digit (like 5) or the word (like five).

Example: Find the number in this sentence: "I have 3 apples."

Example: Find the number word: "She has two cats."
