Hello Cambodian Learners!
Now that you know many letter sounds, we can start putting them together to read words! CVC words are short and have a Consonant, then a Vowel, then a Consonant, like "cat" or "sun". Learning these helps you read many new words you might see in Battambang or in your English books.
Let's Read CVC Words!
Warm-up: Sound Check!
Let's quickly remember some sounds. What sound does 'c' make? (like in cat). What sound does 'a' make (short sound, like in apple)? What sound does 't' make? (like in top). Good job!
