Painting with Words
We know that nouns are naming words (like "cat" or "house"). But what if we want to say more about them? We use adjectives! Adjectives are describing words. They make our sentences more colorful and interesting.
An adjective describes a noun. It tells us about the noun's color, size, or how it feels.

The adjective usually comes before the noun, or after the verb "is".
- a red car
- The car is red.
