Your 3 Writing Tools 🛠️

To write a good routine paragraph, you need three main tools.

Tool 1: The Present Simple Tense

We use this for habits. Remember the most important rule: He, She, and It need an -s on the verb!

Subject Verb (e.g., "wake up")
I / You / We / They wake up at 6 AM.
He / She / It wakes up at 6 AM.

Tool 2: Adverbs of Frequency (How Often?)

These words go before the main verb (but after the verb 'to be').

  • always (100%) | ជានិច្ច
  • usually (80%) | ជាទូទៅ
  • sometimes (40%) | ពេលខ្លះ
  • never (0%) | មិនដែល

Example: "I usually drink coffee." OR "I am always tired."

Tool 3: Sequencing Words (Order)

These words go at the beginning of a sentence to connect your ideas.

  • First, ... | ទីមួយ,
  • Then, ... | បន្ទាប់មក,
  • Next, ... | បន្ទាប់,
  • After that, ... | បន្ទាប់ពីនោះ,
  • Finally, ... | ជាចុងក្រោយ,
