How to Write a Good Comment (The R-A-Q Method)
A good comment does more than just say "I like it." It connects with the writer. An easy way to do this is with the R-A-Q Method: React, Add, and Question.
React (ប្រតិកម្ម)
Start with a simple reaction to show your feeling.
e.g., "Wow!", "Great post!", "That's cool!", "Thanks for sharing!"
Add (បន្ថែម)
Add one simple sentence about your opinion or experience.
e.g., "I like this idea because...", "I also have a red bike.", "I think it's very useful."
Question (សំណួរ)
Ask one simple question to keep the conversation going.
e.g., "Where did you buy it?", "What camera did you use?", "What is your next post about?"
Example: Boring vs. Good Comment
BORING 😴 (A1 Level)
Post says: "I went to a new café near the river. The coffee was great and the cake was good."
"Good."
GOOD 👍 (A2 Level)
Post says: "I went to a new café near the river. The coffee was great and the cake was good."
"Wow, that looks nice! (React) I like that café too. (Add) What kind of cake did you eat? (Question)"
