Usage Note: Important Rules for Months
- Capital Letters: Just like days, the months of the year always start with a capital letter (e.g., January, not january).
- Prepositions "In" and "On": This is a very important grammar rule!
- Use "in" when you only say the month.
Example: "My birthday is in June." - Use "on" when you say the specific date3 (month + day number).
Example: "The meeting is on June 11th."
- Use "in" when you only say the month.
