We use in when something is inside a container or an enclosed space, like a box or a room.

IN

The ball is in the box.

2. On

We use on when something is on a surface, like a table or a floor.

ON

The ball is on the table.

3. Under

We use under when something is below or beneath another object.

UNDER

The ball is under the table.
