Lesson 10: Writing Your Name and Address (Simple Format)

You have learned to write correct sentences. Today, we will use all your skills for a very important, real-life task: writing your full name and address¹ in English. You need this skill for filling out forms², applying for jobs, or receiving packages.

Part 1: Your Full Name

Remember, the first letter of your first name and your last name must always be a capital letter.

Part 2: The Parts of a Cambodian Address

An address is a map to your home. It starts with the most specific information (your house) and gets more general (your province). An important rule is that all proper names (Street, Village, City, Province names) must be capitalized.

Let's look at an example address in Kampot:

Full Name: Srey Pov

House Number, Street Name: House 25, Street 724

Village, Commune/Sangkat: Traphaing Sangkae Village, Tuek Chhou Commune

City, Province: Kampot City, Kampot Province
