Form Structure Example
Affirmative (+) Subject + have/has + past participle (V3) Dara has booked his flight to Paris.
Negative (-) Subject + haven't/hasn't + past participle (V3) He hasn't checked in yet.
Question (?) Have/Has + subject + past participle (V3)...? Have you ever missed a flight?

Dara is a hardworking pepper farmer in Kampot, Cambodia. For years, he has grown some of the best black pepper in the world. Recently, his business has grown quickly, and a famous restaurant in Paris has invited him to showcase his pepper. Dara is very excited, but he is also nervous because he has never traveled to Europe before.

He walks into a local guesthouse in Kampot to visit his good friend, Nita. Nita owns the guesthouse and has traveled to many different countries. She knows everything about airports and airplanes.

"Have you booked your flight yet, Dara?" Nita asks, pouring him a cup of local coffee.

"No, I haven't," Dara replies. "I have looked at the itinerary, but I am confused. Should I buy a round-trip ticket or two one-way tickets?"

"You should definitely get a round-trip ticket," Nita advises. "It is usually cheaper. Also, try to find a direct flight. I have had long layovers before, and they are exhausting."

Dara nods and writes this down in his notebook. "What about my luggage? I have packed a lot of Kampot pepper samples."

"You will need to check in your heavy luggage at the airport," Nita explains. "They will weigh it and print a boarding pass for you. After that, you just wait in the departure lounge until they open the boarding gate."

"Have you ever missed a flight?" Dara asks, laughing nervously.

"Yes, I have!" Nita smiles. "Once, I fell asleep in the departure lounge in Bangkok. But don't worry, you will be fine. Let's look at some tickets online right now."

Dara feels much better. With Nita's help, he is ready for his big business trip to France.

Nita Let me check. Yes, you can check in up to 30 kilograms.
Dara Great. I have already prepared 30 kilograms of pepper samples. Let's book the flight.
Nita Okay, I have clicked confirm. The airline will send the itinerary to your email.
