Welcome to C2 Mastery. I am Teacher Sopheak, and I always remind my advanced students that true fluency is about adaptability. Knowing the definition of a word is not enough; you must master its register.

Register is the level of formality you use based on your audience. Today, we will explore high-level diction required for diplomacy, executive reports, and nuanced conversations.

Using highly academic words in casual conversation sounds unnatural.
