Today, we will learn about object pronouns2. An object pronoun is the "receiver3" of the action. It usually comes after the verb or after a preposition4 (like 'for', 'to', 'with').

How to Use Object Pronouns

Position 1: After an action verb.

  • My teacher helps me. (I receive the help)
  • I know that man. Do you know him? (He receives the action of 'knowing')

  • The tourists like Kampot. They visit it every year. (Kampot receives the action of 'visiting')

Position 2: After a preposition.

  • My friend is waiting for me.
  • I am going to the market with him.
  • This letter is to her.
  • The tour guide is talking to them.
