✨ Lesson 6: Object Pronouns (me, you, him, her, it, us, them)
We know how to use subject pronouns1 like 'I', 'he', and 'she'. A subject pronoun is the "doer" of the action and comes before the verb.
Today, we will learn about object pronouns2. An object pronoun is the "receiver3" of the action. It usually comes after the verb or after a preposition4 (like 'for', 'to', 'with').
Subject Pronouns vs. Object Pronouns
Every subject pronoun has a matching object pronoun. This table is very important to remember!

How to Use Object Pronouns
Position 1: After an action verb.
- My teacher helps me. (I receive the help)
- I know that man. Do you know him? (He receives the action of 'knowing')
- She sees us from across the street. (We receive the action of 'seeing')
- The tourists like Kampot. They visit it every year. (Kampot receives the action of 'visiting')
Position 2: After a preposition.
- My friend is waiting for me.
- I am going to the market with him.
- This letter is to her.
- The tour guide is talking to them.
