A noun is a naming word. It gives a name to People, Places, Things, Animals, and Ideas.

នាមគឺជាពាក្យសម្រាប់ហៅឈ្មោះ។ វាផ្តល់ឈ្មោះដល់ មនុស្ស ទីកន្លែង វត្ថុ សត្វ និងគំនិត (ឬអារម្មណ៍)។
